EDUCATION IS AT THE HEART OF ARLOESI DOLGELLAU
At Arloesi Dolgellau we offer space and resources for people to start or develop their learning journey in digital skills, STEM, arts and crafts, and AI. We believe learning should be accessible to all (young or old), hands-on, relevant, and exciting. We want to help people grow their confidence, skills, and aspirations.
We offer various educational workshops based around the use of our Maker Space equipment. Check out our events page and book via Eventbrite for details of these. If you have a skillset you would like to share then get in touch about our volunteering opportunities.
Check out our Eventbrite page for more information.
We want to know what you want to learn, whatever your age or experience. Please complete out short survey.

Institution of Electronics
We are proud to be an approved training centre of the Institution of Electronics, the UK’s only professional institution dedicated solely to supporting students, professionals, and enthusiasts to further the science and engineering of electronics. For more about the Institution, see their website.
Students of Arloesi Dolgellau can join the Institution of Electronics as Student members, and receive the benefits of student membership, for free. Talk to us for more details.
COMPUTER CODING AND PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES
We regularly run coding classes for kids and adults to learn how to use different kinds of programming languages such as Python as well as using hardware electronics systems like Arduino. Python is a very widely used code for data analytics machine learning, web development and much more. Get in touch to find out more.
LIFELONG LEARNING
Here at Arloesi we value the benefits of continuing to learn new things as an adult. The broad range of equipment we have here have a variety of software programs that each require to run. We want to support everyone in the community to make use of our facilities and that includes training on the software for those who would like it. We will run these sessions when we have a few people who would like to attend.
If you are interested in learning how to use Inkscape, Tinkercad, or have another program, please let us know using our contact form.
